That TV show Dog the Bounty Hunter cracks me up. You know, he’s the goofy looking chubby guy with obvious hair extensions and silly sunglasses with ear phones built into them. Oh, and that obese and obnoxious wife of his, yikes! And how about that posse of greasy looking people that work for him? I’m pretty sure most of the shows are staged and rehearsed anyway. Seriously, they even kind of look like professional wrestlers!

Anyway, as I’m watching the show I realize that he is really just a bail bondsman when all along I thought he was some kind of police officer. That must be why he can cross state lines to do his job; or is it just a show? But seriously, whether it is California bail bonds or Michigan bail bonds, he is just enforcing them.

So even though they make it look like they are cops on that silly television show, they are not. Just because he has a badge around his neck and is carrying a side arm, he is not a law enforcement professional. All he is doing is chasing after people who managed to skip their court date when they were out of jail because they were bailed out.
