Getting a Full Night’s Sleep

A new day is dawning upon me, fellow bloggers! So everyone’s been telling me I have sleep apnea—I wake up at night, feeling a little out of breath, my family says I snore like a rhinoceros, and I feel like I haven’t slept in months, despite falling asleep on time every night. I really didn’t want to go get checked out, because I was desperately afraid that my doctor would hook me up in one of those ultra-sexy sleep apnea masks. But I really haven’t been getting any rest, so I finally gave in and made an appointment. First, my doctor sent me to this sleep apnea website to get some information, and then made an appointment for a overnight sleep test, which was a pain, but necessary. And hey, it was only sleeping—a lot of people have a much tougher time in the hospital, right? So he prescribed me a CPAP machine and a CPAP mask from a CPAP supply store, and God knows I wasn’t happy about it—until I got the thing. It’s tiny! It’s totally manageable, light, and easy to use—and now I’m getting a full night’s sleep. Guess who’s happier and more productive? Me! And suddenly, waking up for work in the morning doesn’t seem like such a bad idea.
