Practicing for Baseball Season

Just because baseball season is over for me this year, it doesn’t mean that I am not looking forward to next year already.

You see, unlike many of my friends who just play baseball for fun, for me it is much more serious than that.  The reason that I take baseball so seriously is that my father taught me from an early age that baseball was “the sport” to compete in and that I could be a star player if I took the time to practice.

For me, it was that statement that changed my life.  I dedicated myself to training each day and bettering my game so that I would become the star player that my father thought that I could be.  I took the time to go to as many Clearwater batting cages, and Tampa baseball training camps as I could.

With all the training I do, there isn’t much time for fun like my friends at school.  I know that at my age that is what I should be doing, but I am dedicated to my success in the sport.  Much like a professional athlete training for the Olympics, I spend each day training to become the best in my sport.

So, I will be attending a baseball strength training Tampa camp next week to start practicing for the next season - you can never start too early.

Golf Course Jobs Can Lead To A Great Career

Golf course jobs are an overlooked option for many adolescents and college students. These kids are thinking about the traditional jobs of working in fast food or customer service. But forward thinking kids are turning their eyes towards golf course jobs because of the career options that these types of jobs can open up for their future. Not only do golf course jobs potentially lead to a pro golf career but they can lead to many other types of professional careers in sports, marketing and business.

People who start out in golf course jobs that get them out on the green often find that they really enjoy interacting with the people who come to the golf course. This can lead to a range of job opportunities in the future. They may end up teaching golf to the kids of these customers. Other times, the opportunities which open up aren’t even related to golf. We all know that a lot of business gets done on the green so getting the opportunity to network with golfers in a casual-yet-professional environment gives many youngsters professional opportunities which aren’t available to their peers working in fast food. It may not be the coolest job in school but it can often be the one that takes someone the furthest.
