Bed Liners Allow a Truck to be a Truck

Bed liners allow you to get full use of your truck without worrying about scratches, dents, and rusting metal.

Let’s face it. A truck has a purpose other than serving as a beautiful work of art. A truck is designed for hauling stuff, whether it is moving boxes, tools, motorcycles, or other outdoor toys. Bed liners give you the freedom to let your truck be a truck. They give you the freedom to load and unload as you see fit - whether you are tossing fresh-cut logs into the bed or transporting your favorite toy. No matter the cargo, the bed and paint on your truck are protected.

No matter what truck accessories you may need, you can find them all at BuyAutoTruckAccessories.com. Find the right price on bed liners, bull bars, mud flaps, and toolboxes - everything you need to turn your truck into a working machine, all the while protecting your investment. Trucks are made to work and play hard. With the right accessories, you can do both without the worries of repairing and painting. Whether your favorite toy is a motorcycle, mountain bike, fishing equipment, or skis, you can haul it with the same peace of mind that your favorite activity gives you. Get the accessories that let you play as hard as you work and still have a work of art!

Can’t Always Hang With The Guys

I pride myself on being the kind of woman that gets along equally well with both women and men. I like the fact that I am someone who can talk about the latest celebrity gossip but I can also hold my own in a conversation about the best maneuvers to use during a particular part of a football game. I hope that this makes me a well-rounded person who is interesting to lots of different people.

Unfortunately, I can’t always hang that well when the guys start talking about trucks. I know all of the basics and can even change my own tires or oil if it comes right down to it but the details tend to elude me. Case in point - a couple of friends of mine were talking about truck parts and accessories the other day and I had no idea what some of the things in this conversation (like piaa lights and nerf bars) even were.

It’s not just the guys that I can’t hang with either. Girls start talking about pedicures and my mind tends to go right out the window. So I guess I’m not someone who can talk about anything to anyone. Perhaps I should just perfect my listening skills for when times like these arise!

Pimping My Ride

One of my most prized possessions is my car. I have worked very hard for the Acura Integra that I own, and it is my pride and joy.

But I didn’t care for the Beyern Wheels that came with my car – I wanted something a little more spectacular. Sure, they were nice, but I wanted something unique that set my car out from all of the rest of the cars on the road.

A couple of my buddies that had purchased Lexus Wheels online suggested that I check out some of the online retailers to find something that was just not available in my city. That certainly made sense as I would be able to have a unique vehicle with little chance of anyone picking the same tires that I did.
So I went online and did some searches on the search engines to see if I could find something that would clearly make my car better than the rest. It wasn’t until I found a site called Get Your Wheels that I was able to find some rims that were truly unique for my car.

I have ordered a set, and I am patiently waiting for them to arrive. I can see it already – everyone will want to have a pimped out ride like I will have. I just can’t wait.

3 Ways to Save Money on Rental Cars

Penny pinchers know that rental car companies are full of ways to squeeze a little more money out of you.  Bob Sullivan’s book Gotcha Capitalism talks about all the various ways companies hit you with hidden and sneaky fees, and rental car companies are one of the biggest culprits.

Want to save money next time you rent a car?  Here are a few ways to make sure that the rental car companies don’t "get" you:

  1. Compare prices by calling each rental car company individually.  Websites that take care of this for you only list the basic, per-day rate.  Unfortunately, there are many fees tacked on to this.  That’s how rental car companies compete — by making much of the cost of renting a car invisible (until you get the bill, of course).  By calling each company individually, for instance when you are looking for Fort Lauderdale rental cars, you can ask specifically about what other fees will apply, and what your actual total will be.
  2. Don’t buy extra insurance.  That extra insurance is usually a rip-off.  Skeptics will of course point out that the chances of anything happening are actually pretty slim, but in addition, your own car insurance probably covers you any time you are driving a rental — call them and check!  Also, you can check with any Orlando car rental company and see what their policies usually are regarding insurance versus no insurance.
  3. Fill up the tank before you return the rental car.  Car rental companies are notorious for inflating the fuel charge if they have to fill the tank after you return the car.  Airport rental cars are particularly evil about it, because the gas station right there at the airport usually has inflated prices, too.  So with any Orlando airport car rental, be sure to fill the gas tank to where it needs to be before returning the car — and, if possible, before even getting to the airport.
